Where can I fit myself into my schedule?

Yes I went to see U2 last week. Yes I had a good time. I do not plan to blog about it. Sorry if that disappoints you. The end.

Ok, not the actual end yet.

My schedule leaves me very little time to live, and sometimes I love it while other times I despise it. I am a full time student who works four days a week and is part of a major organization here on campus- not to mention two of my class require me to read 5+ books this semester (one class is a book a week). I enjoy this most days, while some days I just deal.

My job is finally taking off. I'm an Academic Mentor at the Center For Academic resources (CFAR) here at UNH. See the site for my job description. Some days are good, some days are bad- like most jobs but most people wouldn't be able to my job. Try being the person to help someone put their academic life back together...it's not always like that, but some days that's how it feels. I'm actually writing some of this from the computer cluster at my job because this post has been sitting in the drafts folder for about a week now.

So currently I have this countdown to December, where the brain power behind this blog you people should read is going to be gracing me with his presence for two weeks and it's been a long time coming. This countdown has also made me realize how short and how long time can be depending on the way you look at it. It's now 84 days until he'll be here which means 81 days until this semester is officially over. Not long if you ask me. Time needs to take a nap.

New thing this week! I've created a Twitter account for my blog. I say it's for advertisement/updates but I'd truly say I'm just addicted to it. So if you want to be reminded about new posts because I'm a bit off-schedule lately, check out: twitter.com/AggregateBlog.

Let me know about your blogs! I WILL read them, I do not lie. I have a soft spot for music/band blogs ;)

Until next time, "if Little Red Riding Hood should show up with a bazooka and a bad attitude, I expect you to chin the bitch."

Ole Ole Ole Ole: No Bull

If there is one thing I really miss while I'm on campus, it's FOOTBALL.

I'm a Manchester United fan through and through, but without any way of watching the matches while at school...coming home this weekend,I'm not picky with what teams I'm watching. Especially if they're in the Premier League.

I'm currently watching the Chelsea vs Tottenham match, which is actually live so when this game ends, you'll get your scores. [game goes to Chelsea 3-0...people falling apart. EIGHT MINUTES of stoppage time. Crazy game. If you didn't see it, catch a repeat!] The Spurs are definitely putting some pressure on the boys in blue. I'm also happy to see Robbie Keane back with Tottenham [personally, I feel that's where he belongs]. Also in football today (but not televised for me to watch), Manchester United defeated Manchester City 4-3 with a late goal from MICHAEL OWEN in the 90th minute. I'm sure I stated in a previous blog how wonderful it is to have Owen wearing the number 7 jersey that graced the shoulders of many great United players.

Yesterday I made myself get up for a repeat of the United vs Besiktas match in the Champions League which was won by a header from Paul Scholes, my favourite ginger. The day Scholes (and Giggs as well) retires, I'm going to feel a bit empty watching United games. I didn't get into the beautiful game until I was about 12, at which time the academy boys had been playing for close to a decade already. I came into United during a time of Scholes, Keane, Giggs, Solskjaer and I don't know if it will be the same after them. Of course I will always love United, without question, but United fans who have been watching them for decades before me completely understand the feelings we have about certain squads.

Liverpool vs West Ham was also on yesterday. A lot of action in that game, ending 3-2 going to Liverpool. I also caught a few USL and Super Liga games yesterday which aren't of much importance to me so sorry I didn't catch the final scores. I did, however, watch the Milan vs Bologna game this morning[1-0 going to Milan] and now I sit through Chelsea to get my EPL fix. Tonight I'm hoping I catch the Blackburn Rovers vs Everton [3-0 goes to Everton] match to see England's Paul Robinson who I believe is brilliant, and of course Phil Neville (a former Red Devil and brother of United Captain Gary).

That's all I have for you at the moment. I'm as content as can be with the number of games I've watched in the past two days. I'll return to update scores as I get them and who knows, you may get another blog from me this evening. I'm still procrastinating, so I tend to write a lot. I'm still sick but heavily medicated so not feeling whatever's going on in my body. I've done a little amount of academic work. AND if you happen to stumble across this, or just read this from time to time and don't comment, that's fine with me. BUT if you blog, please leave me a link so I can check out your posts. I love blogging and bloggers and will give any blog at least one chance. So leave it...and I think that's all I have for now. Until later...

Take me home United road!

Tell Gravity to Let Go of My Ears

Gather 'round! Bring the disinfectant wipes...

I am sick! Sick in the head? Maybe, but that's not the question of the hour. Am I illin'? Yes I am. I have the wonderful, ninja-germ: the common cold, which not-so-wonderfully keeps changing it's make-up (why we can never find a final cure for it!)...My internal and external balance is completely fucked and driving in cars makes me feel like I've been on a merry-go-round one too many times.

Procrastination is in full force tonight. I'm being a horrible individual and I'm missing class on Monday and most of Tuesday so I'm kind of in the "why do it?" mode. I will do my work, just not tonight. Nope.

I'm still on the lookout for a record player decently priced.

This post is kind of list like but that's alright, because I really don't have anything to post tonight. Just trying to not fall asleep and it's slowly not working out.

One of the assignments I'm putting off is finding Hip-Hop lyrics to analyze. I personally am not the biggest fan of hip-hop and I think my professor is just trying to give us an assignment "on our level"...but this is not on my level.
Ok so I have to make an edit to this blog. I decided to search for lesser known hip-hop artists for my assignment. I stumbled across OHHLA.com and these lyrics from Code Poets. I've never heard of them and I haven't listened to the song but here's the link to the lyrics I chose, and I dig them. Here they are.

INSTEAD, I'm going to leave you with these videos and lyrics and music I would rather spend time listening to:

(I don't know why this video won't re-size, but watch it anyhow)

Sprechen Sie bitte langsamer. Я не понимаю. Yo no quiero pensar.

Hello my homo sapiens,

It has been a long couple of weeks and I'm blogging more out of necessity than responsibility. Meaning- I'm blogging to get all the chaos jumbled in my cranium out somewhere not because I have posted in almost three weeks...

First off with some bad news, it's been almost a week since my uncle passed away on September 11th. He is someone who was very good to me as a child and was there through many of the bad times that seemed to find me. I don't want to dwell on it too long since it's still fresh in my mind and very depressing. All my love uncle <3

Today is a Thursday which means my week is basically over. No classes on Friday, just a few work hours which are no big deal...then I'm on a bus home to Boston where I will be until Tuesday morning. My mother's birthday is in April but we're celebrating it this weekend. Why? Because my mother is in love with U2...who just so happen to be playing in Massachusetts on Sunday and Monday. Back in March or so, I got us tickets for this Monday. Mind you my mother is young, she hasn't even hit 40 yet, and has been listening to U2 for a little over 25 years now and has yet to see them. I'm glad to have bought tickets for us to go together since U2 has always been something we've shared and reminds me of home when I'm away. I also bought us seats on the good, ole reliable Rockbus to take us to and from the venue. She was freaking out when I got tickets...she's probably freaking out now that it's so close. Wait until the day comes I take her to Graceland...

At this point I'm reading almost 2-3 books a week, while learning two languages, and taking two courses that are writing intensive (but should also be labeled reading intensive). I work 4 days a week and am part of 3 organizations on campus. I HAVE NO TIME. It is stressful but I enjoy always having something else to do...I get bad when life is stagnant. It's very depressing to me. Obviously I like to have time to relax and that's when I procrastinate on Youtube or go to the movies and live a little.

One thing I wish I had more time for was music. I live by albums and there is nothing more I want then to hide between my headphones when times get overwhelming. I haven't been keeping up with any new albums or songs or artists...that's just not how I do. I usually stumble over things and they squeeze there way into my collection. One video I would like to share with you is H2O's video for their song "What Happened?" The image I posted above is of the shirt I'm wearing...an H2O shirt (surprise!) and line from this song...and I couldn't agree with it more. Plus, Matt Skiba from Alkaline Trio sings during the bridge (correct musical term? I think so) and adds his awesomeness to this already kick-ass band. So take a look and I'll see you all back in the 617 this weekend.

Never forget what it feels like to be young.
